How to Make a Simple Leather Dickie Bow Tie Necklace

What you'll need:
leather scraps
leaf template
pre made chain
awl (or something to punch a hole with)
glue
pliers
3 x o ring
scissors

first, cut 2 leaf shapes from your leather

then punch 2 holes through the tip of each leaf

fold your leaf in half

i wanted the suede side to show =)

then thread your folded leaves on to the o ring, one by one.

once both are on, close the ring up tight =)

flatten them out & you'll have your bow =)

next, cut a thin & short leather strip

& apply some glue on the underside

(this time i wanted the leather side to show)

now wrap it around the middle & give it a firm pinch to help the glue =)

pretty huh? (^_^)

now, all that's left to do is punch 2 holes on either end of your bow

add your o rings & attatch your chain =)
